In 1996, Bacchus Group Productions launched The Wonder Band ("TWB"), the first and only professional international dance band completely dedicated to the music of North American soul / R&B / funk / Motown / pop music icon, Stevie Wonder. Created specifically for sophisticated high-end corporate events, performing arts series, international music festivals, society galas and upscale weddings, The Wonder Band is a soulful masterful tribute to one of the acknowledged treasures of North American popular music.

Comprised of the world's finest, full-time, professional, recording session musicians (no amateurs, "weekend warriors", "bar" musicians or "Top 40 wedding band" musicians), The Wonder Band features the most progressive and talented players in the international soul, R&B, Motown, funk music entertainment industry -- many of whom have actually performed and/or recorded with The Master Blaster.
For example, our New York musicians regularly perform with Prince, Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle, Luther Vandross and Angie Stone; our Los Angeles musicians perform with Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Tower of Power, Alicia Keyes and Chaka Khan; our New Orleans artists work with Allan Toussaint, Dr. John, the Neville Brothers and Al Green; our Miami crew works with the Isley Brothers, James Brown, B.B. TWB performed at the '96 Centennial Olympics (Atlanta, USA), the 2000 Summer Olympics (Australia), the 2002 Winter Olympics (Salt Lake City, USA) and the 2004 Summer Olympics (Greece); and at parties at SuperBowls '97, '98 and '99. In the tradition of multiple versions of hit Broadway shows (e.g., Cirque du Soleil and Lion King), there are now 18 fully-operational and identical versions of The Wonder Band in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Miami, Orlando, Boston, Washington, DC, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, New Orleans, Tampa-St. Petersburg, Reno/Lake Tahoe, Toronto, London, Paris, Madrid and Lisbon. All 18 versions of TWB are impeccably rehearsed; and the respective musicians in the various versions perform exactly the same repertoire of proprietary music arrangements. Consequently, it is virtually impossible to distinguish one excellent version from another.
